The demolition has been completed in 3/4 of our space while we still occupy one side of the 2nd floor. With that, more ‘constructive’ work has begun! The 2nd floor joists are being ‘sistered’ which means that heavy-duty aluminum beams are being fixed to the existing wooden beams which were sagging in the middle, due to the age of the building. Also, the ductwork is in place on the first floor along with 2 large HVAC units. The next step is to replace a rather leaky roof which, of course, will protect the new construction to be done. Currently, the construction crew is very close to finishing a big job in Brooklyn at which time they will ‘hit is hard’ at our facility. Thanks be to God for the progress he has shown us these past couple of months!
