First Annual Church Picnic – Sunday, June 29th

Announcement from Fellowship Coordinator, Ann Werner:
Come join us for the church picnic. It’s taking place Sunday, June 29th, right after the bilingual service and open forum. We will be taking the 7 train to Flushing-Corona Park. Since we are picnicking in a park, I think it is best for everyone to bring their own sandwich, salad, or whatever they might want to bring to eat. If you would like to bring chips or desert to pass around, it would be greatly appreciated. Soda and water will be provided. If you are bringing a desert that required napkins, plates, or utensils, please let me know so that I can plan accordingly. I will be bringing a kickball and frisbee. If you would like to bring another outdoor item or game to play, please do! I would love to start a kickball game, so bring your game. I am hoping to find a small section of this park to use for our group. I think it is best to get off at the 111st stop on the 7 train and walk south to 46th St and enter the park there. This way we can avoid some of the Mets game traffic through the park at the other 7 stop. I hope to see you there for a little bit of fellowship at Sure Foundation’s 1st annual church picnic!
